Camp #1: The purists that demand blogs and money be separated like church and state. A group of radical liberals that don't think you should make money using your blog. Although they hypocritically don't seem to have a problem when THEY use their blogs to make a buck!
Camp #2: Bloggers that want to make a fulltime income doing what they love.
A Warning To Blogging Purists!
I have to warn you right now…
If you are a blogging purist, you should not read this letter. It will sting. You will take offense to both the subject -- and my frankness.
But that is okay, because I want to say right up front: I don't need your money - and I don't need your support or approval. With many years spent as a sergeant in the US Marine Corps and as a police officer and law enforcement trainer in Honolulu - the need for "warm fuzzy feelings" and acceptance aren't high on my list.
In fact, I don't need anything at all from you. But I would like to hear your success story, and that is what this unusual letter is all about…
My name is Jason Cain, and I have been making money with a blog since 1999. Back before it was called blogging. Back before there was special software to help in update your blog... back in the days when your blog had to be written in HTML!
At this moment I have over a dozen revenue streams plugged into my blog. I like to think of them as little "online oil wells"... and each one is capable of quickly pumping cash into your pockets.

Advertising: Most bloggers have heard of BlogAds (you may even have them on your blog ), but few bloggers are making any serious money. Micropayments: The biggest myth in the blogosphere has been floating around (like a turd) since it spewed by theorist Clay Shirky. He said that you can't make money with micropayments, because of "mental transaction costs" but I have made thousands since then -- and so have my students. Your readers WILL pay for podcasts, special reports, ebooks and dozens of other digital content -- you just need to know the secrets to making that happen.

So with one simple blog entry I was able to make 132 sales @ $10 each.
Not bad huh?
I invested about 3 hours of time and made $1320 in net profits. And of course the profits do not end there. I will continue to make money off of that report forever.
